Composition:

Each bag contains tetracycline hydrochloride 25g.

Indications:

Tetramisole 10% is effective in the treatment of ascariasis, hook worm infestation, pinworms, strongyloides and trichuriasis. Also lung worms in ruminants. It is also used as immunostimulant.

Pharmacological action:

Tetramisole is an anthelmintic in treatment of many nematodes, especially active against intestinal nematodes. It paralyzes susceptible worms by stimulating the nematode ganglia. Tetramisole is quickly absorbed by blood, excreted through feces and urine quickly.

Usage and administration:

Large animals (cattle, sheep, and goats): 0.15 gm per 1 kg body weight with drinking water or mixed with feed. Poultry: 0.15 gm per 1 kg body weight. With drinking water for 12 hours only.
